Preparing is easier than you think and the downloadable One Stop Hurricane Resource Guide available on this website can serve as a helpful tool to get you started. We also encourage you to visit www.FLASH.org to learn more about preparing your home for a hurricane, including tips on emergency board up procedures. You can visit www.RIEMA.RI.gov to learn about evacuation routes for your community.

 

No one knows when Rhode Island will be struck by its next hurricane but scientists and disaster safety officials agree that it’s not a question of “if,” only a matter of “when.”
