Buy Jamestown Logo

 

The “Buy Jamestown” logo reminds people to shop local. The butterfly is an agent of pollination and I used it as a metaphor to symbolize local businesses. Like it’s symbol, as we all shop local we strengthen our community. The shape of “Jamestown Island” is used in the center of the butterfly the blue wings represent the water surrounding the island, it giving the logo a sense of place.

Night for the Light Campaign for Dutch Island

Here is one of my favorite campaigns designed for the Jamestown Chambers annual fund raiser; Night for the Light. This year the beneficiary went to Dutch Island Light House. The logo is inspired from Dutch Island's light house which sits on Dutch Island.

Night for the Light Campaign for the Windmill

Designed for the Jamestown Chambers annual fund raiser Night for... This year the beneficiary went to the Windmill. I have the good fortune to drive by the windmill everyday and enjoyed illustrating and designing this poster using the wind as the inspiration to create the energy in the design.

Taffy Label

When the chamber decided to sell the taffy in local shops it was an opportunity to promote Jamestown and offer a souvenir item to visitors. I wanted to design a label that would be bright and upbeat, and have the ability to compete with other candy items on the shelf.
